Maria Knuckley Robinson. Mixed Media Artist

I am an educator and an artist. Both are integral parts of my personal growth. I create to fullfill a physical and mental need, but also to maintain a rigorous ​standard of creativity in my teaching, work, and life. 

I came to art later in life, during my second undergraduate degree in college. Studying studio/design and art education began my love for printmaking and sculpture. As my needs for content development grew, exploration into drawing and painting complimented my already growing skill. My current work utilizes the vastness of my experiences by incorporating figure drawing, printmaking, colored pencil, craft, and installation into each piece.
